Βιογραφικό

Πτυχίο αγγλικής φιλολογίας (ΑΠΘ), μεταπτυχιακές σπουδές στη λαογραφία (ΑΠΘ), στην κοινωνική ανθρωπολογία (Indiana University), Ph.D. στην κοινωνική ανθρωπολογία (Indiana University). Τα ερευνητικά της ενδιαφέροντα επικεντρώνονται στις πολιτικές του πολιτισμού και του παρελθόντος, στις εννοιολογήσεις της «παράδοσης» και της «νεοτερικότητας», στις διάφορες μορφές τουρισμού, στα Ευρωπαϊκά προγράμματα του πολιτισμού και ανάπτυξης, στις αντιλήψεις της ελληνικής αρχαιότητας, στα κοινωνικά κινήματα.
